Absorbability Tester is a special instrument for the
determination of the water absorption of paper and board
surfaces.This instrument is mainly used to measure the amount of
absorbed water on the surface of sizing paper and board under
the conditions specified by the standard. Loose paper (such as
newsprint paper), unsized paper (such as blotter paper), and
other highly absorbent papers are not suitable for this
instrument. Other test methods and instruments should be used. |
